WINTEC EUROPE GMBH Launches Soft Opening of German Subsidiary, Embarking on a New Journey by the Rhine

[Düsseldorf, Germany, February 19, 2025] – WINTEC successfully hosted the SOFT OPENING event for its German subsidiary in Düsseldorf, marking a significant step in its further expansion and deepening presence in the European market. The new office of WINTEC Europe GmbH is located by the picturesque Rhine River, near the iconic Rheinturm, symbolizing a fresh beginning for WINTEC in Europe. The event brought together global tech giant Intel, long-term partners, and key clients to witness this milestone. Attendees included WINTEC Chairman Liu Meixun, Deputy General Manager Yin Liangce, Overseas Business Executive Vice President Steve Chan, and Intel (Deutschland) Go-to-Market Leader Alexey Kostadinov, among other distinguished guests. The atmosphere was vibrant, with a gathering of industry leaders.

WINTEC’s Journey: From 2004 to the Future
At the opening of the event, Ivy Zuo, General Manager of WINTEC Germany, reviewed WINTEC’s development since its founding in 2004. She highlighted WINTEC’s unwavering focus on the retail technology sector, consistently delivering high-quality, reliable POS and Self-checkout devices to global customers, and striving to become a leading provider of AIoT solutions. In 2012, WINTEC moved to its current factory site, expanding production capacity and R&D capabilities. She also revealed that a new factory site, expected to be operational by 2026, is under construction, which will further bolster WINTEC’s future growth.

Ivy Zuo stated, “The establishment of the German subsidiary is a crucial step for WINTEC in the European market. We will use Germany as a hub to provide faster and more attentive services to our customers.”

Steve Chan’s Opening Remarks: Enhancing Localized Services, Envisioning Global Markets
In his opening speech, Steve Chan, Executive Vice President of Overseas Business at WINTEC, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the partners and clients who have supported WINTEC over the years. He said, “WINTEC’s growth is inseparable from the trust and support of our partners and clients. The establishment of the German subsidiary is a key part of our global strategy. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen our collaboration with European customers and drive innovation and development in retail technology.”

Steve Chan emphasized the pivotal role of the German subsidiary: “The German subsidiary will not only serve as WINTEC’s operational center in Europe but also as a logistics and warehousing hub, offering faster and more convenient localized services to customers. We believe that through localized warehousing, technical support, and after-sales services, we can further enhance customer experience and support the digital transformation of the European retail industry.”

In his speech, Steve Chan reiterated WINTEC’s core values: “Honesty, trust, and mutual benefit are the principles WINTEC has always upheld.
